HYPOWER BRISTOL
HyPower Bristol is a high-power rocketry team at the University of Bristol. Founded as a union of our university’s rocketry skills and experience, we are working within BristolSEDS. We pride ourselves on having a tight-knit team of interdisciplinary students, ranging from first-year undergraduates to PhD students. Brought together during 2020, we have since enjoyed many launches, and continue to learn and grow.

Insight into UK Uni-Rocketry
The UK rocketry scene is a hive of activity, we want to
encourage both industry growth and academic research by
providing a link between the two.
We are incredibly proud of achieving our 2024 goal of designing and building a liquid bipropellant rocket. This team effort has equipped us with a 5kN engine, propellant tanks, control systems and a full launch vehicle. The team is now setting the challenge of making a strong EuRoC’25 entry, further developing our launch vehicle manufacturing and pushing the boundaries of our propulsion development.
